Also try installing an alternative browser on ChromeOS. You have to enable dev mode and run it as a Linux app. Clunky. -

I've enjoyed Firefoxx64 DE for many years, and Edge doesn't tempt me, and I stopped using Chrome long ago--far too many bugs. -

Or any of these companies to be fair. I mean on Android even app authentications stops working every now and then if you change default browser to something else than Chrome. On Apple devices all browsers must be based on webkit or denied from the store, so they are just different shells of the same thing.
