Mesh network and Sonos; disconnected to Apple Music (but after reboot of Mesh system it's back to normal - strange)

Recommended Posts

I have a 3-pack TP-LINK Deco X10 (WiFi 6).

Configured and connected (same SSID as the WiFi network).

For some reason when playing music on my Sonos Play:5 the music suddenly stops. After rebooting the Deco set, and reconnecting Sonos (to Apple Music) everything is back to normal.
I have now connected Sonos also wired, but still these issues appear.

Config [basically all Decos are in 'one line' on all floors):
ground floor: modem,as well as one Deco (wireless, connected to (main) Deco on first floor
first floor: (main) Deco, wired connection
second floor: Deco, wireless connection

Any thought why this is happening?

Is this a TP-LINK thing? (mis)configuration?
Or can I better opt for just a FRITZ!Repeater 6000 AX repeater on the first floor (and hopefully have good reception throughout the house). The modem I'm having is the FRITZ!Box 7590 AX.

For some strange reason I do have internet connection with the SSID with my notebook.

The Sonos is connected wired (and its own wireless network) in the same room as my notebook.

I used to have the TP-LINK Deco M4 (WiFi 5) with no issues on my Sonos.

Configuration was to (default) WiFi router.

I changed this to Access Point. Hopefully this helps with the improved, more stable connection.

Tor is a network of virtual tunnels that allows people and groups to improve their privacy and security on the Internet. The Tor software protects you by bouncing your communications around a distributed network of relays run by volunteers all around the world: it prevents somebody from watching your Internet connection and learning what sites you visit, it prevents the sites you visit from learning your physical location, and it lets you access sites which are blocked. The Tor Browser Bundle lets you use Tor on Windows, Mac OS X, or Linux without needing to install any software. It can run off a USB flash drive, comes with a pre-configured web browser to protect your anonymity, and is self-contained.
