Naturally I am a tech junkie with a big head, (and possibly the most attractive) .....  😜

I am currently on holiday from unit and been firing up some of my old server lab projects I was doing about 6 months ago during my mid term break. Discovered that I still had fully working Windows NT 3.51 Server domain network with 2 Client NT.351 Workstation machines and a Windows 3.1 networked up, with a Citrix Server running most of some older apps.  Happen to load it up again, and surprisingly enough didn't realize how much a pain NT Server 3.51 was to set up once I figured out how to get the display drivers working again. (Used the unofficial Vemp NT drivers).

I called it the X Files FBI Network. With two idiot clients named Mulder and Scully :p Basically set up an Exchange Server on the domain server as well.

Nice 1 dude. Great way to learn server stuff and client communications.  Once u have the foundations and knowledge of those platforms the is worlds yours. Started back in those days with nt4 ect now looking after multiple companys in the southwest uk. Now networking is massive with wifi . Epos till . Sip phones . Remote desktop . Vpns . Hardware firewalls lol its all great fun. Keep it up.

Yeah for sure, it is always interesting to see how the NT era started  and the history behind. Happen to find NT 3.51 probably an interseting system already.  It is amazing how much of that started off back in the early 90s in regards to this. The point is i am having fun with it, haha. :)

I remember when NT 4 Was probably the it thing, I think that really launched Microsoft and it's networking services. Although Windows 3.1 and 3.11 for Workgroups was my first exposure to anything Microsoft back in my day.

The only thing I can never seem to get rid is setting up exchange server 2013 on a Win Server 2012 R2 machine with a Win 10 Client base. That is one that I will have to try and do again. ;)
