Carlisle R.
I thought the 14th gen of Intel was recent, drivers for their integrated graphics are under legacy support already: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000101986/graphics.html I just realized about it when I was going to update the driver of a 13th gen computer I have. I suppose we have to be happy that they'll at least release updates for critical vulnerabilities "if needed", but maybe now there won't be more Vulkan extensions implemented for those GPUs. I still see laptops being sold with those processors online and in retail stores... +Eternal Tempest MVC Posted October 1, 2025 MVC Share Posted October 1, 2025 Intel 14th Gen launched late 2023, so it's very recent and if I'm not mistaken, still actively made & sold. I suspect this has to do with them in cutting resources / deep in the red. Focusing on ARC which is built in to the new "core" CPU's up & the recently announced Nvidia partnership for integrated graphics.
