What was the last movie you watched? (2026 Edition)

Just got done with Return to Silent Hill.

Unfortunately I consider it another disappointment for the game->movie genre. They got the main story right enough, but all the nuances of the game got lost. But I guess that's to be expected when you take an hours long game and try to condense it to 100 minutes...

Superman (2025), IMDB

2 out of 10.

Only gets 2 stars because of the CGI dog.  The whole plot was insulting and just stupid....calling out plays to beat Superman.  WTF was that.  One video and everyone turns on him...are you serious right now?  Ugh...not to mention some of the CGI was jarringly bad and how brittle he was.

This movie belonged on the CW.

Edit:  I most be in the minority...Rotten has this at 83%.  Whatever, it's a steaming pile of  Kryptonite.

2025 thread is here.

Feel free to re-add your 2026 watches, because we didn't make a new thread at the start of the year.

For me Bullitt (1968) yesterday (fell asleep with last 5 minutes so had to rewind and watch, not because it was boring! I was tired)

This past weekend Code 3 (2025) which I really liked.

    • The thing you look at when buying a computer or laptop is not the CPU/RAM/SSD. You are looking at what features are on the system. USB 2/3/4/c, GPU, (not for the gaming aspect, but if you want nice movies, this helps) and other helpful add-ons. Keyboard media keys, for example. Also long battery life is a plus, too. Might want to also mention what brands you are looking at. Dell, Lenovo, Frameworks, etc. Edit: Unless you are looking for a laptop for portability, get a desktop.
