SCSI or RAID

Recommended Posts

both are fast, but scsi is more costly and dependable. Raid in stripeed 0 array is most cost effecient, and the speeds of the new hdds will run against the latest scsi. Its a matter of how your funds can hold out. By far scsi has the advantage of having onboard controllers that take a huge load off the cpu though and a scsi raid well just is sweet but hey money dont grow on trees. Maximumpc mag just did a real life test on raid , they calim that a single fst hdd is beter for gaiming as writes in raid are fast but reads acctully slowed down as compared to the single.
