Microsoft typically releases new Windows 11 preview builds every Friday. Less frequently, but still regularly, the company also pushes new ISO files (last time on May 19, 2026), allowing those who want to clean-install one of the recent builds quicker and easier, all without waiting for Windows Update to do its thing (in-place upgrades. Just like that, Microsoft today released its official images for the builds released last week.

As of right now, the latest Windows 11 preview builds are the following:

You can download all those builds from the official Windows Insider website. Just keep in mind that you need to log in with a Microsoft Account registered in the Insider program to get a link.

As for what is new, Microsoft brought some interesting and useful features with these updates. However, as usual, the most exciting changes are in the Experimental (formerly Dev) channel, which Microsoft uses as a test bed for new features. Those include a big Start menu update, which lets you resize the menu, toggle specific parts, and more. Microsoft also reworked the recommendation section, which you can now disable without affecting jump lists. We recently published a closer look at this upgrade, so check it out here.

In other news, Microsoft is hosting its annual Build developer conference this week, so expect plenty of developer-related news and some fresh Windows announcements, not just the new Surface Laptop Ultra powered by NVIDIA's latest processors for ARM PCs. We will cover all the most interesting news, so stay tuned.
