Not seeing this on any browser; DuckDuck, Edge or Firefox.  I've also turned off all ai on DuckDuckGo.

Never mind I found it.  It's an extension for Firefox and Chrome.

Personally ive been using searxng, self hosted, although there are public instances out there too (https://searx.space).  Its shocking when I occasionally go into google or bing and see how bad they've become in the last year

No need for an extension. Can be found at https://noai.duckduckgo.com Most browsers allow editing of search engine URLs so I’ve changed mine to that one
