Classic Outlook vs New Outlook — Which one do you prefer and why?

Question

My concern with New Outlook: Microsoft quietly blocked several promised features on Apple systems recently which shows they are still not fully committed to feature parity. Switching to something incomplete feels risky for daily work.

For power users who rely on advanced email rules, offline folders, and heavy customization, Classic Outlook is still the winner. New Outlook feels more like a web app wrapped in a desktop shell.

That said, Microsoft will eventually force everyone to switch, so maybe it is better to start getting used to New Outlook now rather than later.

Classic outlook for dependability and feature set. New Outlook is trash, I would consider it the juice on the trash. Nothing but problems in our enterprise environment. Freezing, crashing and just an overall lack of features is why we don't use it. It gets uninstalled on every system. The day we have to switch we might have to look at other options.

Classic outlook, not only does it have a much fuller feature set, it doesn't include Microsoft attempting to sync my emails from my servers to theirs.

If classic outlook is ever removed from office, and the version I paid for in 2021 stops working for some reason, I'll use Thunderbird.

Who uses Outlook anymore? Seriously. When you have open-source and completely free clients such as Thunderbird, Outlook is really obsolete now.
