The Isles have to worry about Buffalo. They were fairly active today in spite of sitting several points back in 9th place. The Isles are moving into a 5 game road stretch against some tougher opponents and if they struggle then Buffalo could be back in it.

Karpovtsev is proned to injuries. His value has fallen over the last two years. He used to be worth at least a 2nd round pick.

Whats your opinion on the cowan trade? I think the thrashers made a big mistake. Cowan is having a career year and this other guy only has one goal.
