avery so often people will pop up coming online that arnt even on my list do i have a virus???? how do i un install msn messenger?

no, that happned to me when i didn't have the virus, they could send u instant mesaages without even them on ur list but they can c u online on thir list and use a hack which lets themm do it so it ain't virus.........

Yeah it's a nasty little bug this time round. Basically uses a security flaw in IE to put Javascript on your PC. Script then opens up MSN Messenger and sends a post to all your online contacts with a link to a site, which, you guessed it - places the javascript on to their PC and so on and so on!!!

How to get rid of it:

1. Exist Messenger, dont just close, EXIT!

2. Go to Microsoft.com and download the latest IE security update.

3. This only effects IE 5.01, 5.50 and 6.0. If you are on 5.01 or 5.50 you will need to install Service Pack 1 or 2 to be able to download the security update. The update will stop the worm from sending files.

4. Your mates, if they still have the virus, will keep sending you the link so DON"T CLICK ON IT!

most probably its ur wayward anti microsoft memory which makes you hate MS messenger
