I have just Downloaded the latest Java aplication from www.java.com, and have unpacked it after it`s info on the installation on the site. so i have checked the file /usr/java/javaws, but i do not see the file that the installation information on the site says it should. plz tell me what to do, and how to activate the Java prog in the Konqueror. KenLin Posted March 17, 2004 Share Posted March 17, 2004 go to http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html and download the 32-bit/64-bit for Windows/Linux/Solaris SPARC after agreeing to the license, you will get the choice of rpm or self-extracting file for linux. choose the rpm.
