Error when click on HTML files

Hi

Some times in Windows 2000 Pro when i hold my mouse pointer on a HTML file or click

an it i get this error

Explorer.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows.

you will need to restart the program

and there is a OK button on the bottom of this window

and when i click on OK all of the things on the desktop will be invisible for about 2 second

and after 2 sec the icons and windows will back

after this i downloaded and installed SP4 for win2000 and after it

when i click on a HTML file i don`t get this error but it still close all windows and icons

and they will be invisible for about 2 second

if i want to open HTML file i must select at least 4 HTML file and hit the enter key

and they will open without any error

what i must to do?
