csmarshal Posted March 22, 2004 Share Posted March 22, 2004 hi everyone! I've got a problem with my 120 GB Segate Barracuda HD. In the beginning there were two partitions i made and they both had files on them. But then i came and decided to merge the two partitions together. I used Partition Magic 8 to do so. during the process of merging something screwed up and Partition magic displayed an error, and cancelled in the middle of the operations. After that i couldnt boot it anymore..... . I then put thata HD in another computer and set it as slave. With the other OS i can now see that there are still two partitions. One is in FAT, and the other in RAW. The FAT one i can open and i see like 30 files (each about the size of 100kb) with the letters of the alphabet as the filnames as well as some symbols. The other RAW partition when i try to open tells me i have to format... :cry: If any one you can help i would greatly appreciate it! oh, i've tried like every data recover tool there is.....but if you got one thats not as popular and i might not know of plz tell me.
