Fonze Posted September 11, 2001 Share Posted September 11, 2001 i have altec lansing ADA 880 speakers and a new Creative Soundblaster Audigy. i plugged in my digital cable from the speakers to the digital cable on the back of the sound card. i booted up and set up everything fine but no sound was played from my speakers! i set it back to analoge and it worked. are these speakers not compatible in 5.1 with the 24-bit sound? or is my card defective? also if anyone else has these speakers could you tell me what cable you used to plug the spdif cable from the speakers to the soundcard, i have a cable which lookes like a RCA cable and on the other end if it i put a converter which looks like a regular headphone mini-jack. it worked on my SB Live! but now the audigy isn't working right. someone please help me out Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
