Running around the playground of the Fifth High School of Changan District, Xi'an, China, a thin child especially attracted attention among those high school students who were playing football. He was armless. He lost his arms in an accident in which he was shocked by

high electrical tension when he was 5 years old.

The teachers of the high school were touched by him when last year his parent brought him to the school. They decided to break rules to accept the child. He is now in his second grade.

He writes with his foot, washing his head with his foot... it seems that he can overcome any difficulties (oh, except his classmate helps him tighten his belt). He never has inferiority complex -- his teacher so commented on him.

Like other children, he is now eager to learn operating computer. He is often with smile in his face. He said, he doesn't care how others would look at him, he will go his own way.

Major credit ot him for overcoming such an obstacle in life. It's those kind of achievements that truely make human kind amazing.

Much agreed, it REALLY ****es me off when people make fun of them. They already have to great deal without a lot of people bothering them. I have great respect for those handycapped people.

... The teachers of the high school were touched by him when last year his parent brought him to the school. They decided to break rules to accept the child. He is now in his second grade......

That's incredible. Good for him! (Y)

But I have a question.... see the quote above? Why does it say... "They decided to break the rules..."

What rules? Are there rules in some countries about letting physically challenged people go to school? Please forgive my ignorance, I'm just very cuious.... Thanks.

:o

Impressive. You gotta hand it to these guys who have the motivation and spirit to get over something like this.. I know if I was in the same boat, i'd just hide away and achieve nothing.

I was reading in a VW magazine over here (Performance VW) about a guy who was disabled in a wheel chair, yet had this sweet MK2 Golf GTI with a VR6 engine in it, etc - had it adapted so he could drive it, and was very much into the VW scene.. I just thought it was so cool that he had overcome something like losing his legs and was able to get on in life and enjoy the things that still mattered.

wow. brought a smile to my face and made me realize that anything is possible when youre dedicated. i've been living my life, watching out for what others might think of me and then there's this guy who overcame an obstacle and went to go do something that he wanted to do without thinking about other people's view of him. good job.

    • Microsoft brings Planner Agent to all Microsoft 365 Copilot users by Ivan Jenic Image: Microsoft Microsoft has announced that Planner Agent in Microsoft 365 Copilot is now generally available to all users with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license. Planner Agent is the latest addition in the string of AI features that Microsoft is implementing across virtually all of its products. The agent lets you manage tasks through natural language prompts directly inside Microsoft 365 Copilot. You can create and update tasks, check priorities, and get insights about current entries without leaving the chat interface. The general availability release comes with a handful of new additions on top of what was available during the initial rollout. A new plan picker lets you search and filter your plans by name, then update task names, statuses, due dates, or priorities through the agent. There's also a goals bucket now, which lets you group tasks under specific goals. This builds on the Goals view, a feature that was introduced as part of the broader Planner refresh that rolled out earlier. Image: Microsoft | Planner Agent in Microsoft 365 Copilot All AI-generated plans and tasks are created in draft mode by default, so you can review and approve changes before anything goes through. This is actually a thoughtful safety feature, because trusting AI to handle all your tasks without a human in the loop is usually a recipe for disaster. Having tasks initially saved as drafts is the best possible middle ground. Microsoft also says that not all tasks are executed equally. Simple tasks get processed quickly, while more complex ones, like building a plan from a Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file, are handed to a more capable model. Microsoft says this approach delivers the best performance, but it could also help with usage management, as you won't have to waste tokens on performing simple tasks. Planner Agent is available now across Teams, Loop, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 apps for anyone on a Microsoft 365 Copilot subscription.
