well

i don't know if you will find a php editor, that will look like frontpage or dreamweaver.

i prefer to ultraedit. which can color your php, html (c++, js, java, perl, asp...) code. it is the best editor i ever seen. try it.

also, you can check the one and only good php editor called "phped".

:p WYSIWYG editors.... I code by hand. Best way to do it PERIOD.

I use EditPlus 2 becuase it allows syntax highlighting, autocomplete, and it's extendible to other languages. It supports the major ones built-in, but I was able to program a syntax file for the Scheme language in my Intro CS class in about 10 minutes.

Plus, there's some other built in stuff like FTP functions and a file browser.
