Roger H. Veteran Posted February 23, 2002 Veteran Share Posted February 23, 2002 I can't get my GF4 card to detect that i have my TV plugged in VIA s-video cable. I want to output ot TV when watching DVDs and VCDs and DIVX and all that.... I used TV-tool 6.0 and 5.5 and the software DOESN'T detect the chipset on the video card i got. Does that mean i have to use the supplied drivers that came with my card to get TV-out to work? When i go to the properties i see that the TV encoder is detected as a NV17 Internal (MV) is there anyway to detect which chipset i really have or did nVidia develop a TV encoder or something? Oh and when i have the S-Video cable plugged in the system shuts off automatically sometimes?
