you missed my point about restricting access to your pc...like i said b4 noone is gonna believe a hacker put those files on your pc...you got the hacker attempt because of virii/trojans contained in those files....so either you downloaded them or another person physically sat at your pc and downloaded them...so you need to clean the mess up and either not dl anything yourself or make sure no one else can use your pc

zone alarm free has just is just as good except it has less "bloat." just dl it after you reformat and noone can get on your pc again. simple.

I use Sygate Personal Firewall, its free and I have never had a problem with it. There are many different products out there just find one that works for you.

Yea. I can vouch for you. That stuff comes into your comp, especially if you have a folder being shared. Makes copies of itself all over. Nobody bothered to noticed that none of those so called .exe files have icons. Probably all a few K only too (if even).
