right click on network places, select properties. right click on local area connection, select properties. you should see a box at the bottom of the dialogue which says something like "show icon in notification area"...uncheck it.

yeah i've unchecked it

BUT IT STILL COMES OUT!

doubble click it.. it should say like Local Area Connection Status.. rember what it says.. then go into ur network connections folder.. and doubble click the connection the status indicator is there for and disable it.. hope this helps

yeah i have unchecked the show icon in notification area.

but it doesn't work.

It's chosenOS for windowblinds (unreleased just now) It was originally made to match this LINK I made a different start menu and the skin started to take on it's own style/feeling I think.

Please note a lot of the graphics were provided by a guy called chosenone, I'm merely peicing them all together to make the skin.

If I ever figure out how to apply all the images to a Visual Style I will port it over, but I had a quick look today and it didn't look very inviting.
