DoubleJ
OK, this probably isn't a very easy or safe thing to do, but I was wondering if it is possible to remove the multiplier lock on an Intel CPU. I have a PIII 733 Slot 1 Processor. I am currently O/Cing my 100MHz bus to 133MHz to get it to 733 and if I O/C the bus anymore I get into problems. If I had thought ahead I would have got a 700/100 CPU and O/Ced the bus to 133, but I didn't. Anyone know what I can do, short of getting a new CPU? Thanks for any insight. YahoKa
Nope, you're out of luck m8. Your just gonna have to buy a new processor, or get an AMD (not locked.)
