if you do a tracert, it will tell you the ip. thats just one way though.

yeah what mswarts said.. just ping the domain name and it will do a reverse dns lookup

Start -> run -> cmd - > nslookup neowin.net

Start -> run -> cmd - > ping www.neowin.net

Start -> run -> cmd - > tracert neowin.net

none of these sites are giving me the ip address from www.ratemyteachers.com

can anyone tell me that IP addres?

As far as I know, ping is the same in linux except you should specify a count like this:

ping -c 2 www.neowin.net
