Cubano Posted March 1, 2002 Share Posted March 1, 2002 I have a question about Slacware. In Redhat, I saw once that a machine was displaying the system messages in /dev/tty9, which is concole # 9. Now, I was wondering if the simplest way to do this is by typing this: tail -f /var/log/messages > /dev/tty9 & Is that the way that it is done in RedHat?
