The X800 is here

My word many people on these forums are anal retentive.

Seriously, the amount of effort they spend on constructing elaborate (to the point of ridiculous) arguments illustrating only the points that support their own opinion and completely disregarding every other point...

Fan boys... I used to be one.

THEN I GREW UP

[stupid picture removed]

;)

Anova dont forget your a fanboy yourself, your older Sigs had many a bad word against Nvidia, so YOU cant talk mate.

Since when is telling the truth about nvidia's past actions being a fanboy? As I've said before, yes I don't like nvidia, but it has nothing to do with being a fanboy. I simply think they are an unethical company that has ripped off their consumers in the past and continues to do. They also spread FUD everywhere they go via their PR department. Quite frankly I don't like it and is reason enough for me not to buy from them ever again, but I do, as long as I deem it a good product, not like the NV3x. And since ATI has thus far not shown me anything to frown upon and they have faster, more efficient cards on top of it I think they deserve my business. I would rather stay away from nvidia whenever possible.

why are the benchmarks so fecked up these days? 1 says the ati is faster the other geforce is faster. all get sponsored to get a videocard better. its time ppl realize it. for me? i got ati. i got a 9700 pro and it seems that the x800 does what the 9700 pro did last year for me: making every game playable @ 1280 x 1024:)

Fair enough Anova thats your own opinion, but dont try to inundate other peoples opinions with yours, your little remarks about nvidia grow tiresome, if people like nvidia, LET THEM LIKE NVIDIA, its their own choice and let them make it. Not all people are like you, and thank god for that.

Adamp2p: the time you wasted editing that pic was really....well,a waste, your a sick person dude.

My friend, it is just a picture symbolizing beating a dead horse. A picture cannot be inhumane, sorry. If you don't like it do not look at it, okay?

A picture can depict an inhumane action and cause other people to feel uncomfortable.

This is a public space. People come here to relax and share their opinions. This can be accomplished without pictures such as the one you posted.

Damn man. At least you guys put a warning on the forum topic if your gonna post bad pics. I have trouble with those types of things and causes me to have to take a trip to the ol head doctor.

Kinda like some spam... topic: "hey! have not seen you in a while!" when you click on it's got all sorts of pornographic crap in it.

I sure would hate to have a small child standing around if anything like that popped up. :(

This topic is now closed to further replies.

    • I think every American should have a course in a 'dry sense of humour' at school; and perhaps 'using sarcasm in jest' oh, and also 'the use or irony in humour'. Slapstick is just about all Americans can understand. It's a pity, as this is the most basic of humour, that requires no thought at all. It's hilarious to watch a whole room collapse with laughter while yanks sit scratching their heads...
    • What they really need to do is automatically spell "loses" and "lose" correctly since nobody seems to know how to anymore. Then they blame spellcheck/autocomplete and don't realize autocomplete is just filling in the word for them automatically so it was misspelled in the first place.
    • If someone chooses to continue using SB and therefore goes through the manual intervention in the thread, afterwards the BSOD problem is gone. Whether they then re-enable the task doesn't matter, they're done, though on such machines it might pay to keep it disabled in case the next update (if there is a next) causes the same problem. OTOH, if someone disables SB in the BIOS, the problem is also gone. Incidentally, I noticed that this task exists even on machines that don't support SB. It's just installed across the board...and runs. Doing what on such machines is a little hazy.
