Channels and Gaussian

-> color channels (for example: ad more green color)

-> gaussian -> vague, check filters

---

But if you have PhotoShop 5+, you don't need this tutorials, because, PhotoShop can do al this by itself. (just double-click a layer)

Next CTRL+Click on your layer with the text.

You should see the layers in the bottom right side of photoshop. Now find the text layer. Hold down ctrl and left click the pic of the text in the layer. It should now select it in your image.

make a new channel and then fill the selection with white by hitting alt+backspace.

Again, see the layers? In the second tab you should see channels. Click it. Now at the bottom of that you will see a botton called creat new channel. Click it. Then make sure you have the color white selected, you can hit the "D" key and then if you have to switch to white in the background color selector. Next just hit alt+backspace and it should fill it in.

Hope that helps.
