PearPC Logo

Question

Here's my quick mockup!!!

I Think it turned out quit cool - I kept the overall feel of the apple logo mainly the leaf, but left out the bite

& since it's a CPU architecture emulator - Well!...

I Roughly based it on the G5 Processor, but chenged the colors so it looks like an x86 processor > churning out the necessary bits

it needs a little tweaking on the die gradients, but you get the idea!!!

That looks nice, a true apple style logo.

I think you need to make the pear a little darker, you can't really see it very well. Otherwise a great effort!

That design looks brilliant, but there is one problem, its not a real Apple style, although I can understand how it fits in with the actual theme of the emulator, being X86, and whatever. You would make a really sweet website using that logo!

The point of it is not resembling too much the apple logo, or focus on the OSX, but rather try and find an identity to the emulator itself without the risc of apple stepping on it because of design rights!

Still if you look closely on the pear, its the well truste apple with a bulge & no bite

Good point, I'd say that if I had to choose any logo submitted in this thread so far it'd be yours, it really is pretty damn fine.

One of the core libraries (cURL) has been updated to address vulnerabilities and a nasty linker error that was causing the need for a dedicated patch which could now be eliminated.
