dacris2000
Whenever I right-click inside a folder or on the desktop, Explorer crashes. This is ONLY when the context menu contains a "New" submenu. When I try to move the mouse over the new submenu, Explorer locks up. What can I do to solve this problem? I'm pretty sure it's something with the ShellNew folder. I tried disabling ShellNew items from TweakUI, but it didn't help. I even tried changing display drivers. DjmUK
This is a long shot but it could be your mouse that is phucked. Or as you menionted you used a Tweaking program, maybe this is the problem. This isn't much help is it..? :ninja:

Viscon
did you recently install and then uninstall any prog? it might have written the entry to the "new" context submenu and didn't remove it during unistallation process. find the registry key: shellexContextMenuHandlersNew and check if there are any unnecessary entries left. if yes, delete them and see what happens. just in case export the reg key before you do any changes.
