Well guess everything square wouldnt look good lol. Anyway I think you might be right changing the buttons too much could make the theme lose the Luna identity.

If someone can tell me the command I need to enter to get that option for a custom font then I will add another font option.

I didnt meant adding a new font option, what I meant is right now with the current theme you cant change the caption title font (or any other font for that matter) if u go to the advanced appeareance options like you can do with almost any other theme, I'm not sure why, I think this is important not just to suit my taste, to suit everyone so they can use the font they prefer for the caption like it happens with most (all?) themes)

U can change any options u want there but the theme never accepts those changes, (it would take any change in font colors but not on font faces or sizes).

The Flash button ATM cant be changed because the text colour wont change for the Flashbutton. Its Either a easy to see button or easily readable ATM im afraid. I'll fix it eventually though.
This wasnt meant for the flashing window but for the normal active window, it would replace this situation:

I think that the way it is at the moment, all the windows look pretty much the same the same on the taskbar so for example when u have several IE windows u cant find which is the active one on the taskbar at first glance, u actually have to read the text. But maybe the mockup I made in bright blue stands out too much, so much u thought it was the flashing window lol, maybe some intermediate shade of blue (I just used the standard buttons borders/fill shades of blue.

the google thing cant be helped. Its a windows thing.

- I'm pretty sure the google toolbar buttons its not a windows things, I have seen quite a few themes that does not cut/squish the google toolbar buttons in height, u might want to check this thread and/or contact his author, he managed to fix that bug changing some settings on style builder toolbar button height or something like that.

Ill look into it.

Right now though (and for the next two weeks or so) im going to be doing my Trial exams for high school, so Im not going to try and do anything about it this week.

I think I know why some of those problems occur, so I'll look into it when I get the time.

BTW, can someone refer me to one of those themes which doesnt squish the google bar thing? And then tell me how to get the google bar? I dont use alot of features, so I dont know if ive fixed them or not. :p

Ok- please, please, please help me, lol. I have no clue how to install the Luna VX theme, and i want to install it sooo bad cuz im getting really bored with my Windows XP silver thing and Windowblinds messes up from time to time. I need Luna VX. There are no .theme files or whatever in the theme, how in the world do i install it?? Any help would be sooo awesome- thanks a billion

Hello all.

I have a little problem with the Vs, here a screenshot:

[removed]

The Visual style is in X:\Windows\Ressource\Themes\ .

Someone can help me ?

If you are using Luna VX 4.0 you may try to download older 3.3 version which is linked somewhere on this thread (previous pages). 4.0 does not contain a shellstyle which is the thing that skinds the explorer sidebar.

Well, seeing as its the weekend, I might just upload the VS.

Its NOT ENTIRELY COMPLETE as of this moment, but its close enough that you probably wont care (except that the gold scheme doesnt have a thin version yet - you'll have to wait a bit longer for that)

I had to make it a rar file because otherwise it was 50kb too big

After my exams I will do the whole shibang (the VS, Logon, Screensaver, Registry files etc.and make a new Thread so i can keep track of all this stuff), but here you go:

    • The current Statcoungter desktop numbers has Google Chrome increasing it's market share this past year and currently commanding 75% share. Everybody else is just making up the numbers with even MS Edge losing 3% this past year and has dipped just below 10% share which is staggering considering it's default on every Windows deviced purchased. If these numbers are correct that terrible Edge number is both devastating and embarrassing for MS especially when you add in the terribly low Bing market share. This leads me to ask a couple of questions as the default browser holding just less than 10% market share seems really weird. It used to be that all Chromium browsers were being counted as Google Chrome in some cases.  Is this still happening? Do these high Google Chrome numbers contains some Edge user numbers?
    • Yeah, all web browsers seem to have some junk in them these days. The regular Brave browser has a lot of unnecessary stuff in it, similar to Microsoft Edge, so I don't see any benefits of using Brave over Microsoft Edge if you already have Microsoft Edge fully set up with ad blockers and that. The cleanest or best free browser outside of 'Microsoft Edge' I’ve tried so far is 'Samsung Browser'. It has very little bloat and is a nice-looking web browser with an inbuilt 'Ad blocker'. I also really like the web browser called 'Floorp' that is based on Firefox. This browser can also install Chrome extensions. I have a system wide Ad blocking program for Windows 11 that doesn't just blocks ads in the web browser, but over the whole system. I don't really need a web browser with an inbuilt ad blocker because of that.
