I dont care enough to link it but its been linked to 'osteoporosis, heart disease, colon cancer and renal disease.

its also. Is sometimes below the recommended daily values for several vitamins and minerals such as calcium, potassium and magnesium.'

But fine take that out of my post, dieting still isnt the answer, lifestyle change is the answer

atkins is a lifestyle change, first thing it says in the book

coke would be better off if they went back to the fomula that they used before they ****** with it and ended up with classic coke

Im not 100%, but i do believe that coke started off with a small amount of cocaine in it, so taking it back to its original formula wouldnt be such a good idea...or will it? ;)

For some reason, Coca Cola tastes a lot better in a glass bottle. Maybe it's just me, but I thought that this might be relevant to the conversation.

(Or not).

But now that i contributed to teh derailation of the topic, i just hope that the new coke is acceptable flavourwise

show me an actual real scientific study where it has proven to be detrimental to your health, or "bad for organs in your body" as you put it, then give me a call please... till then you are claim is opinion...

again, if you do aktins correctly, you DO exercise, you DO eat cabrohydrates, and you DO count callories... don't rant about things you don't know about

Bravo!

I've lost almost 50 pounds with atkins. Am I going to be on it forever? of course not...but it makes you realize that we as a society consume *WAY* too much carbohydrates. Breads, pastas, soft drinks...heck...look at juice! next time you have a bottle of juice look at the carbs...even more than soda!

I eat carbs....I don't eat near as much as before, and my weight has stayed off.

The way I measure the quality of diet is by how many people ... in good shape ... are on it. Can you name one healthy, normal weight person who has started the atkins diet? Of course not. It's all people who want to lose weight. If that's your goal, it's fine and dandy, but once you get to a normal weight, I can't see it being ideal.

I had a better idea. Instead of switching to ghey crap like Coke C2, I actually dropped all sodas and drink water now. Guess what, way healthier and no carbs at all! Since over a year now!

I haven't tried it and well not try it. I don't like Coke Cola products. This is another sad marketing idea to boost cola sales for the summer season, whats next?

One of my mom's friend has been on it for 2 years. She lost 30lbs and now looks good. That good enough for you?

The Atkins diet actually changes once you've gotten to your ideal weight.
