Hello, just saw the sporting zone and i was curious if someone here practices Capoeira. I started 2 months ago, and i have to say that its an amazing sport. My capoeira group its called Senzala. Well, if someone of you practices it, we could have some kind of discussion about our groups and movements and how well do you play in a roda.

i had a friend in high school who was very good at it and always use to practice at lunch time in the school. I must say is a very great sport, i thought at first it wasnt a sport i thought it was more like a style of dancing/fighting. Is a really good experience to see people who really know it, show it off and do moves. i wouldnt mind learning it but with work and all, and i know of no spots in my area where i could practice it... Good luck with it tho, is a great sport and a very good dancing style (i like to calling dancing style :D )

Hmmm, you should chek out this videos about Capoeira if you want to know what is it, although those who appears in the video are very good doing it, they are Mestres (it is the Highest rank that someone can have in his group of capoeira).

Enjoy them :D

When I think of Capoeira I think of the movie 'Only the Strong Survive' ... I think that is the name of it...

EDIT: That isn't the name of it, but I do remember seeing a Movie that had alot of Capoeira in it on HBO, I forget what the name of the movie was.... :(

Damien, i thinked it also, but because we all started from 0, its not a problem to try to do things, also you loose the fear to do the things when you already are doing it. You should try it, and if you dont like it, then dont do it, but at least try it, im sure you will like it.

Then you should read this if you are interested in a short story about the capoeira:

Also you can check the url that i posted below with some videos, or maybe have a look around google if you want.

Capoeira's pretty cool. It's not really a martial arts way of fighting as far as I know though. More of a dance with martial arts moves mixed together. It's really slick to watch when a bunch of guys get going really fast though. Quite impressive.

The movie is called 'Only The Strong', you were very close.... I love that movie.. it is a bit cheesy, but oh well.... It stars Mark Dacascos, and is pretty much about Capoeira.

LibreWolf is designed to increase protection against tracking and fingerprinting techniques, while also including a few security improvements. This is achieved through our privacy and security oriented settings and patches. LibreWolf also aims to remove all the telemetry, data collection and annoyances, as well as disabling anti-freedom features like DRM. LibreWolf features: Latest Firefox — LibreWolf is compiled directly from the latest build of Firefox Stable. You will have the the latest features, and security updates. Independent Build — LibreWolf uses a build independent of Firefox and has its own settings, profile folder and installation path. As a result, it can be installed alongside Firefox or any other browser. No phoning home — Embedded server links and other calling home functions are removed. In other words, minimal background connections by default. User settings updates Extensions firewall: limit internet access for extensions. Multi-platform (Windows/Linux/Mac/and soon Android) Community-Driven Dark theme (classic and advanced) LibreWolf privacy features: Delete cookies and website data on close. Include only privacy respecting search engines like DuckDuckGo and Searx. Include uBlockOrigin with custom default filter lists, and Tracking Protection in strict mode, to block trackers and ads. Strip tracking elements from URLs, both natively and through uBO. Enable dFPI, also known as Total Cookie Protection. Enable RFP which is part of the Tor Uplift project. RFP is considered the best in class anti-fingerprinting solution, and its goal is to make users look the same and cover as many metrics as possible, in an effort to block fingerprinting techniques. Always display user language as en-US to websites, in order to protect the language used in the browser and in the OS. Disable WebGL, as it is a strong fingerprinting vector. Prevent access to the location services of the OS, and use Mozilla's location API instead of Google's API. Limit ICE candidates generation to a single interface when sharing video or audio during a videoconference. Force DNS and WebRTC inside the proxy, when one is being used. • Gf needed a new Surface and was looking at a Surface Laptop because of the Snapdragon. Seeing as it was a two year old chip she just decided to get a Lenovo Yoga 2 in 1 instead. Personally this Surface Ultra Cassis reminds me a bit of Razor. It would be interesting if it could handle proper gaming and be 17 inch.
    • No idea, frankly, I'm not into minimum requirements gaming, but it would be an interesting test to find out. Also, I just have to point out that it wasn't my intention to downplay the performance of DXVK on Linux or Linux gaming in general (despite my own experience being a bit of a mixed bag). I just thought it would be good to point out that DXVK is not Linux exclusive and that you can benefit from using it even in Windows.
