If you update Internet Explorer then it affects all applications that uses IE... unless you have the original source code.

an extension manager that allows you to uninstall extensions and also update them from directly within the manager without having to visit and site and manually update.

It should say 6/12 or 6/14 or when we feel like it. ;) I hope 0.9 comes soon, but I don't give their release dates any credibility anymore. They are always behind.

You could be right. While i want it to be released at the earlier date there were quite a few bugs that showed up in yesterday's branch.. Im thinking the 2nd date is more correct for a final release.. It all depends on when they call a RC1.

0.9 most likley will be out, as the bug list is close to completion (16 bugs, with most of them being 'tracker' bugs which just track progress of general elements like build size and get reassigned every release).

Mozilla Update looks REALLY cool. It's gonna be a lot easier for people to get what they need in extensions...

They have never once claimed that any release dates were set in stone. For every milestone, they make it very clear that it will be out when it is ready and not sooner.
