Japlabot
how can one word with the same meaning have two different variants?unless they dont have the same meaning? How? you're looking at an example. It's like mum and mom or gray and grey.
Schmoove
how can one word with the same meaning have two different variants?unless they dont have the same meaning? There are tons of different words with the same meaning (indeed: mom, mum, mother, mama). There are also tons of words that have more then 1 meaning (macintosh (raincoat and a computer), etc, etc, etc.).

fpd
collectable, collectible adjective describes something that is considered to be worth collecting as a hobby: Comics from the early sixties are highly collectable at the moment. collectable, collectible noun [C] any object which people want to collect as a hobby (from Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary) In the UK we generally use collectable but both are accepted.
