Right click doesnt always do the trick ;)

Go into foobar's prefernces, under components -> Album Art Panel.

@tehwprks: never seen images used as backgrounds in ANY foobar. at least not with ColumnsUI.

Thats where right clicking and clicking on preferences takes me. I guess i need to update it. Where would i get the update?

i am also wondering how i might be able to make multiple rows of columns similar to bigRobbs config above where there is a row full of a tabbed panels, separated into 3 columns, 2 per column and then below it is another row with more panels/the playlist, etc.

still can't find the setting to tell foobar to follow the playlist when a song is done instead of playing a song i have highlighted instead... any help would be pgreatly appreciated...

also... is there any way to make WhiteCap a part of foobar... as in... can i make it an option to choose whitcap instead of spectrum analyser in my panel...

thanks jake

Sup guys I need help with finding a plugin I had for foobar... It allowed me to change the volume within foobar and what it actually did was reduce the decibles or rise them in order to change the volume... But the problem is that I forgot where I found it and what it is called.. Or if you guys have any suggestions on where I may find a similar type of plugin thatll be great because as of now I have to change windows volume and that effects everything..

Thanks In advance!

get it here, http://www.saunalahti.fi/cse/kode54/index.php?s=d&o=d

or

if you have you foobar windows opened, use the "+" and "-" sign on the numpad to increase/reduce volume..

or

mapped a global hotkey and you can control it without opening its windows

Hmmm, I'm having trouble with a certain thing...

Look at this picture:

https://www.neowin.net/forum/uploads/post-2...10033_thumb.jpg

How does he have his Album Art and other tabs on the LEFT of his playlist.

Despite however hard I try, my things can go anywhere except beside the playlist as long as it is on top of it.

I guess a possible way would be to drap them into the Sidebar, but I cant for some reason. Hmmmm...

Now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure that space beside the playlist is the Sidebar. Anyone know why I can't drag anything into the Sidebar?

Please look at my screenshot :(

EDIT: NVM I FIXED IT. I DID NOT HAVE THE SIDE PANEL HEADER DISPLAYED SO I COULDNT RIGHT CLICK IT TO CHOOSE MY PANELS

first is my foobar config with tagged files

second is my config without tagged files

i hate how it came out for the untagged files becuase it is hardly legible. the color scheme sort of matches but i still cant read it. i cant figure out how to change the colors for the untagged files to be able to read it. if anyone would help me with this problem i would be very appreciative...

thanks in advance

    • Claude on Windows is eating up massive amounts of RAM, with no way to stop it by Usama Jawad Anthropic has been in the headlines a lot lately, primarily due to its latest revenue and valuation figures, along with its release of its state-of-the-art (SOTA) Fable model. While its flagship product, Claude, may be very popular among millions of users, a lot of them are now reporting memory issues when using the tool. Over on Claude Code's GitHub repository, an issue raised in February has been gaining traction once again. Basically, Claude Desktop on Windows spins up a 1.8GB Hyper-V virtual machine if you use Claude Cowork or agent mode even once. This happens on each launch of Claude Code even if you plan to use the tool in chat mode only. Several users have upvoted this bug and stated that it's happening on their machine as well. However, it seemingly affects only Claude desktop users on Windows, not customers of the CLI or any other platform. Once the bug is triggered, it also shows a Vmmem process in Task Manager, indicating CPU usage of 0% and RAM utilization of a whopping ~1.8GB. Claude users complain that this process should only spin up when you explicitly launch agent mode or Cowork in Claude, with session files efficiently cleaned up after use. Additionally, they are calling for Claude to gracefully handle the absence of virtual machine-based infrastructure, without compromising on chat performance. It's unclear when this issue originated or what the root cause behind it is, but people are once again actively engaging in the GitHub thread as well as Hacker News. You can also find other technical details and log events over on GitHub. It's unclear if Anthropic will look into this issue, especially since it's already been reported for a few months. However, the bug is also causing major annoyance for users, with many claiming that it has led them to uninstall Claude Code on desktop, as a concrete workaround is not yet known.
