I like to keep my foobar simple, with all the other fancy functionalities hidden under the hood. I have enough clutter on my screen

Oh, and I cheated. Some of the extra buttons are just plaintext. Too lazy to draw them (and they look nice as is)

one thing i have noticed about bruml's setup is that on va albums the text is hard to read, is it like that for others or just me? thiis a screenshot of the problem, also while it is not shown the often if both the track name and artist name are long the text overlaps foo2vn3.th.png

Looks like you are missing the font Corbel, which is what the artist names are supposed to be. As far as text overlapping, I know it happens and it's something I need to fix.

Hey guys. I'm using the foobar customization found here:

http://www.fooblog2000.com/2007-03/fofr-co...ration-pack-v05

However, I have absolutely no idea where to put my album art, what to name it, and how to size it. If anyone could help me out I would be very grateful.

you put your album art in each album folder.. and label it folder.jpg. For example, if you have a folder for say Nelly Furtado - Loose, you would put the folder.jpg in that album, it will then show up in foobar. it doesn't get any easier than that.

Oh I see. I don't have my music organized in folders (rather, all my music is in one folder). Will I have to create folders for everything, or is there a way to maintain my current structure? Thanks for the help.

Egads, man!

Luckily, Foobar has some wonderful functions to move and rename files based on tags that are great for organization. Read here.

Will I have to create folders for everything...

If you don't want to edit any part of the config, then yes.

(Although it wouldn't be difficult as it can be automated by foobar)

if you don't mind, you could go change the path's to the coverart to something like:

...My Music\covers\%artist% - %album%.jpg

and then place and name the images likewise.

Eitherway, you're going to need a properly tagged collection.
