I've been workin' on this conf for a while now, and I have a question. How can I make a button that switches the single column playlist to columns playlist, and vice versa?

First of all i'm presuming you are using panelsui

put something like this..

$select($eval($getpvar(playlist.mode)+1),

$panel(Playlist views,Single Column Playlist,4,10,100,500,),

$panel(Playlist views,Columns Playlist,4,10,100,500,))

..and this will create a toggle button, depending which playlist is displaying.

$ifequal($getpvar(playlist.mode),0

$button(277,23,0,0,67,30,,PVAR:SET:playlist.mode:1,),

$button(277,23,0,0,67,30,,PVAR:SET:playlist.mode:0,))

of course all numbers will need changing to your settings, and you will need put in your button image location too.

Yes, I'm using pui, but it doesn't work :ermm: I changed the numbers and the image location, but it doesn't show the button nor the playlist.

In all honesty I dont believe in crazy customization of a window that stays planted in my system tray but I'm amazed at the abilities of some of the people here.

It all depends, i love to stare at my foobar, some others use it on a separate monitor, or hell, just to be happy when you have to switch playlists :p

Im having problems still with my album art, the covers arent displaying and they did in a previous install of foobar..

How can I get the albumart to work like on that pic? I have columnsUI and album art panel but I can't figure out how to move the albumart out from it's own panel..

change this line in panels ui>layout globals "$puts(images,images\gsm_flv_mod\)" to wherever you put the images if that is correct maybe you dont have the dll's for png support, i think they can be found in this topic

I tried changing that, but it's the same problem.

then I downloaded libpng.dll and zlib.dll and put them in the components dir and it did nothing. Or do I have to put them in a different dir? Damn, why doesn't this work? bah

they dont go in the components folder, they just go in the foobar2000 folder
