Bearded Kirklander
a couple of questions.1. is there a keyboard shortcut to close a tab? 2. is there a way to get my middle mouse button to open links in new tabs? CTRL-W is the close tab command. Using Firefox .9 it works if I click my middle button on a link it opens it in a new tab already. Do you mean to make it the active tab? I think there is a TAB PREFERENCES extension for that. http://extensionroom.mozdev.org/more-info/tabprefs There is a more powerful one too that does a lot more: http://extensionroom.mozdev.org/more-info/tbe Happy browsing, BK
Turn It Down
1. ctrl+w 2. Middle clicking a link should open it in a new tab automatically /edit too late, however you dont need an extension to open a new tab in the foreground, that option can be found in tools>options>advanced
frod
i guess i should have put Mac: in the title. at least cmd-w closes the tabs, thanks for that. middle mouse button doesn't work for me, anyone on a mac able to verify that it should or should not work? Chad
I'm pretty sure there's an extension that will take advantage of your middle mouse button. Have you checked through them?
