no matter if i try and add this resource again after deleting it, or if i try to rename it. nothing will stop it from comming back like 0.

it renames for the time i have it open then if i close it again and open it they will be back to this. as shown in picture. does any1 know another system resource program that allows you to add new resources?

i need this help asap as i was doing a lot of work on system replacement files to release to everyone and this is going to cause me not to be able to release it at all.

Please explain to us how you have lost 6 hours of work by using Resource Hacker.

It's friggin Resource Hacker. It just does 'visual' stuff, it doesn't affect any program's functionality. You can't be serious, dude....

@dougkinzinger you obviously have no idea what im doing. b4 you go around making some comments you should realize i said in my first post this is for work on a system replacement packs i do for a program called guir replacer which replaces all your system files icons, avis bmps for you no matter what version of windows etc.

so yes this affects my productivity because i cant add new reosources to the *.dll module file and write the scripts for indide the *.dll because i cant even add the new scripts. who dont read posts and make comments.

@unabated this must be a feature of the latest version of restorator. i have the version b4 this latest one and that add feature in the right click menu is not present. i will try the latest version but i really didnt like the changes that were made in that version. i found the version b4 much more to my liking. thank you very much for your help. i would like to know what is wrong with reshacker though.. seems strange.

Again, you're working on something which doesn't actually do anything. And it's unsupported. And here you are complaining about Resource Hacker, instead of emailing Angus Johnson and asking him (he's actually quite friendly given that he doesn't support RH anymore).

Sounds like you're a real chum.

    • Because of the EU (a good thing) newer android devices been getting 5 years worth of security patches. Except some Motorola which found the loop hole, and offer ZERO updates. In addition, Google for years have been making where it can patch some stuff by updating the core Google Play Store itself.  As echoed earlier,  you take the security risk in to your own hand beyond supported.

    • Yes for me, I installed 'old calculator' (Windows 7 calculator) in its place since it is more useful to me. I think paint is the only one I left installed
