im sorry, but macs are not for the 1337. macs re for people that have too much money on their hands.

Geesh... what a stupid thing to say, you clearly dont know why people own macs

But back OT, thanks for the heads up, may consider getting one if i had the money - UT2004 play really well :woot:

lucky ******. lol

sure, i COULD get a b&w G3 for 450 dollars used. but realistically, if im going to buy a mac, im either going to get a G5 or a powerbook. they cost waay too much money for me and i just cant stand imacs and emacs.

also, look at the price of the 9800 pro, four hundred dollars. the pc version costs 200, and it can be softmodded to an xt. this one probably wont have enough people using it to warrant hacked BIOS's and stuff.

this one is different from the 9800 XT for the PC. It has DDR memory clocked at 680 MHz!! :) Or is that the same as the PC version? Can't remember anymore...its been a month now without the PC and that card.

The PC version of the 9800 Pro runs at 380MHz core and 340MHz RAM which is obviously 680MHz DDR. The XT for PC runs at 412MHz core and 365MHz for RAM, so 730MHz DDR.

Good to see the Mac have another addition to the graphics card side of things, but I don't see why ATI have just released another Mac 9800 when the PC has just gotten the X800 series ... why not bring out a Mac X800? Oh well ...
