And what, exactly, is in that "test" e-mail that you sent yourself?;)) Of course, you could just be photoshopping the image as well, which is probably more likely (isn't it interesting that "photoshop" is now a verb, as well as a noun?)

I think you need to do a bit of updating on the "people invited" part of your original post ;) smokiethebandit set up a blog post earlier today with the names of quite a few people invited, so you might want to search through the threads for his blog link.

Well, actually, this thread has departed from the original queue idea, if you look over the last 10 pages of posts, and, while I can't complain about idbuythatforadollar's approach (that is why I have my shiny new Gmail account), we should try to get back on track and invite people in the order in which they posted to be invited.

--edit-- let me get this straight... did you just use this thread to redirect people to your blog ? Sorry but I won't be updating this anymore... because there's no point in doing it. This thread was doing more than fine and now someone creates a blog and a dozen more invites have been given away. It just mixed everything up and I don't really feel like seeking for all the info. I'm sure you wanted to help, but to me its sh*tty. You wanted to get more hits on your site or something ? :huh:

i don't know how your system works, but the other system works like:

I get a first invitation. I invite 3 people on the first list.

Those 3 people then have 3 invitations each (i assume?) and then they can invite 9 people next on the list.

Those 9 people can invite 9 * 3 accounts, meaning there will be 27 accounts.

and so fourth.

if this is how it works i don't know how come it's so slow :/

I think one thing you could do to this thread (although it might be a bit too late) is have the mods delete all the non-requests messages (eg the ones where people are just chatting) leaving behind just those that have not been "satisfied" yet. So essentially this thread just becomes a list of names in posts and no chatting of any kind...

...perhaps. I dunno. Just thought I'd throw in my 0.000000000000002 bucks
