Hotmail ups space to 25MB.

To you guys complaining because it dosen't offer a gig: who the **** cares? Honestly people, ever since GMail has come around, that's ALL people want is a gig of space. Are they ever gonna use it? Of course not, but they're still willing to act like pathetic losers for an invite. I have had a 10MB hotmail account for a year and a half, it came with my MSN Premium subscript, which is part of my DSL service...anyway, I've never been above 3% storage. Who the hell needs 1GB of email? You people need to stop bitching because everyone else isn't going the way of GMail, it's just stupid anyway.

LOL Exactly i mean its still a BETA version anyway and they are fighting over it as if they wud use all of it anyway :D There is no point in arguing, if u dont like it then tuff bobbles :D why dont u write to MSN And complain :)

Edit: Wildies well im sure he and others including me dont cram up inboxes like some :)

Not for me. I had to enable that option that moves everything to the spam folder that's not on your contact list. In like 4 mins, I get 10 emails asking if I want to enlarge my pen0r or some nigerian smuggler.

He's talking about the built-in invisible spam filter that you can't turn off that sometimes blocks Gmail and Deviantart.

Nahh to little to late. 25mb out of 100mb or yahoo and 1000mb on gmail...

Like i said to little to late!!!

yeh it aint working on mine i stil have 2mb... maybe it is for paid accounts or made offical later tonight...

David

The fact that GMail offers 1 gb of space is great, but not a reason to use it.

I have used my hotmail account since 1998 and there is no way I am gonna switch. Now they up it to 25 mb, which is more then enough for me anyways. So thanks to GMail and Yahoo for that.

I hate changing my email address and notifying everyone. I'll just keep using Hotmail.

i totally agree with you :D

and btw, i also still have 2 mbs only :(

and yeah, although i know i won't use the 25 mbs anyways, i still think hotmail is really crap if do decide do give so little in comparison with others.... oh well..... just because of msn

never ever had a hotmail account :p

I'd assume they're going to bump up their storage space soon. Not because GMail has done it, but because the cost of storage is so low now that it would be very scrooge-like of them to keep it at 2MBs.

well...

but hotmail/microsoft aren't normally THAT generous :p

You're all wrong, G-mail isn't the largest, http://www.aventuremail.com is. But who needs more than a couple of meg anyway, honestly what is going to go in to it, programs? I mean even if you do send massive files most people won't be able to recieve them anyway if they are not subscribed to a large e-mail account.

    • On xiaomi hyperos there's also an option to disable google assistant. I've got everything disabled. Only thing I do have installed is a web wrapped for duck.ai which claims to let you use various AIs anonymously
    • I need to understand the rationale of not shipping all of these K2 improvements in a single update/release. It's giving "we will fix Windows 11 but no commitments". It seems to me that they just announce these improvements just to appease the community.
    • The term "RTM" is long gone starting with Windows 10. Every current release is a GA build. This is the result of MS making Windows as a Service (WaaS).
    • Looks like no official TBW rating, which should be a required listing in my opinion for sites like Amazon (hell, put it on the box too.)
