Steffan
I guess MS is upgrading ppl that actually use their hotmail accounts first. I dont use it very often because of the 2mb limit. OT: Is there a way to tell how long you have been using a hotmail account? tang_tito
You're all wrong, G-mail isn't the largest, http://www.aventuremail.com is. But who needs more than a couple of meg anyway, honestly what is going to go in to it, programs? I mean even if you do send massive files most people won't be able to recieve them anyway if they are not subscribed to a large e-mail account. but that server is often down and it doesn't even allow you to attach files so, what's the point? unstable, has a bunch of problems (like for example accounts disabled without a reason), no file attachment...... null_
I have 3 accounts, 2 @hotmail.com and 1 @msn.com. The MSN one is the only one with 25MB of space (and I used to be a premium subscriber so maybe they didn't reduce my storage space) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/180692-hotmail-ups-space-to-25mb/page/4/#findComment-2328468 Share on other sites

idoia
Microsoft and MSN aint that generous!!!!! But thye have to do something to compete with the rush!! I actually heard that they (msn) in order to make an agressive unexpected move are going to reduce all e*mail accounts to 500Kbs storage size. No one will expect that ! . Deactivated Account
LOL wow that?s all they can do??? You would think that they would do maybe 150MB or something to beat Yahoo. Like common Microsoft all I ever see in my inbox of my hotmail/msn account is spam LOL everyday I have to remove the spam from my inbox. I get like 400 SPAM message a day in my MSN account. tkyoshi
Well if they are upping to 25MB for free, wonder what MSN Premium/Plus/Dial-up users are going to get. They better raise storage for us since we have 25 right now or else it kind of defeats the purpose of purchasing a subscripthion in the first place. Xab
If nothing else, Google at least deserves credit for starting the trend of larger email storage. The amoun of space my ISP gives me with my cable account has run out of space more than once and I've had to delete things. More space is always nice, and I'm glad Google jumpstarted this for all email providers. b3ta
 Great news! I knew that Microsoft / MSN would never offer the sort of space that Yahoo! offers. But 25mb is a usable mailbox.
