Getting Viruses in Email

Recommended Posts

Look, I am getting a lot of Virus emails lately (Netsky), the email address exposed on public message board. (I know bad idea)

My NAV is deleting them, so I am not infected.

However, it's just annoying. And, it will probably keep coming, as long as someone else infected has my email on their computer.

What do you guys do under this situation?

Before you respond. Read these carefully

1) I AM NOT INFECTED

2) I DO NOT NEED HELP ON DO NOT OPEN EMAILS WITH ATTACHMENTS

3) Read 1 and 2 again, Remember!

Well I wouldn't let the mail download to the machine without checking them through ezpop

Perhaps you should take a look at this since you seem a tad annoyed?

ditch, cancel, delete the current email account and set up new one.

stop giving out emails unnecessarily.

Before I used Mailwasher to bounce spams so that they take my address off their mailing list.

was getting lots of virus too.

got tired of doing it, ditched address...made new one.

problem solved.

I'm very careful about giving out email address now.

I used to get none at all. Not one. Then suddenly im getting absolutley flooded with them.

I cant change my address, as its an account on my webserver.

However, been running Thunderbird and its seemed to filter out every single one so far, so its not really a problem :) except the fact that they are using up my bandwith, space and time i guess...
