BigPaul2006 Posted June 23, 2004 Share Posted June 23, 2004 I host a ftp server on my personal pc uising serv-u. i have a residential sbcdsl line so my upload speeds suck. my friend downloads large file off of me through his comcast cable internet. what ive noticed is that the connections always time out. he usually downloads through ie. would it b faster or more reliable if he were to use a ftp client? if so which one? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

EDF Posted June 23, 2004 Share Posted June 23, 2004 First... find a new FTP server, Serv U is useless, get Bulletproof 2.x, that is the best, small and the most stable, you can get complex if you want with Raiden, but BPFTP is the best.
