Personally I stand by Firefox as the best all-around web browser long term. I have been using PC's at home for 30 years now and Firefox I have probably been using around 20 years at this point, maybe a bit less if you want to deduct time when I was using Palemoon for a while. but even that is basically a Firefox variation.
but even for a low-end figure it's likely been a easy 15+ years of total time on Firefox which makes it more than half of the time I have been using PC's at a minimum.
p.s. with that said I do have a backup browser I use for certain things and that's generally been Chromium with some level of Waterfox/Edge. lately I have been using Edge a bit more. but in all honesty... while each might have there ups and downs, I would not say any browser in general is far-and-away the best. but I would side with Firefox is you are asking me to choose only one I could use long term.
Maybe because there was some game software that had compatibility issues with the update. Anti cheat and other DRM has compatibility issues on Windows because of this.
Basically, in this scenario, Microsoft releases a new version of Windows when the current version enters its "extended phase" of support. Therefore, Windows 12 could be released in 2026 when Windows 11 26H2 is launched. The final version of Windows 11 might be 27H2 or 28H2 (EOL in October 2031).
LOL, I just got the 24H2 for my home PC in March! Not sure what the hold up was. My home pc is NEWER than my laptop by 2 years but I got the laptop update not long after 24H2 was release, but the 24H2 for the AMD based home game computer was blocked until March.
