horrible move. Thats John Muckler for you. Idiot....he was a dumbass with the Rangers and now with the Sens...Lalime was a great goalie. I wouldn't even trade him for a 1st round draft pick.

I'm surprised no other big trades are happening.

Hasek sucks.....he was good before he originally retired....

He just came out of retirement because he got in trouble for cross-checking some forward in a roller hockey game in Czech and was gonna goto jail but escaped and got his guilty ass back in North America and the NHL. He deserves to be in jail!

im glad he went to the sens. sens are my most hated team, followed by detroit. i will love to see him fail in ottawa like he did in detroit after he retired and came back. i know thats not a fair comparison because he was injured, but he never got the aprk back that he had with detroit pre-retirement

http://www.sportsnet.ca/ <-- Signed Hasek [source since no one gave one]...

Hasek is not eligable to be signed until July 1st. Detroit has given the dominator permission to talk with certain Eastern Conference teams.

At this point, Ottawa has NOT signed Hasek. At least officially.

"Muckler cannot talk specifically about Hasek, a six-time Vezina Trophy winner as the NHL's best goaltender, because Hasek remains property of the Detroit Red Wings until July 1 when his contract officially expires and he becomes an unrestricted free agent." - http://www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/ContentSe...d=1044442959412
