hrm, i was just broswing neowin whilst downloading my daily forum reply emails, and i got an email that told me i got a new PM and under firefox the PM notification windows popped up. i was ok...went to my control panel and it showed "1 new message" in red. when i checked my inbox there was nothing? that's wierd.

It happends.. I think its fixed by logging out and then back in or removing your cookies. :D

Happens to me in Internet Explorer sometimes. But if I'd really have one. How it'd happen to me is I'd go read any I'd have, but than after deleting them I'd just click the back button and IE & Neowin act as if I still have new unread PMs until I refresh those particular pages telling me if I have any PMs or not.
