Octopus Posted July 1, 2004 Share Posted July 1, 2004 I did "repair installtion on my xp" then re-installed SP2 RC2 [firewall is turned off] launched FireFox 9 ,but I get this error message "your connection was refused when attemting to contact the proxy server you have configured. please check your proxy setting and try again" my proxy is the same,it works with IE,I tried my old backup profiles too.IT DID NOT WORK. clean install of FF...didnt work..revert back to FF8 the same thing. now I am really ****ed :angry: what is the problem?
