Are you blind?

Too much envy  (don't know if it's the right term  )

It's a contact sport for god's sake!

You Portuguese are a bunch of girls.

C. Ronaldo crying was the highlight of the final.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!

Are we really supposed to believe that Greek team is the best in Europe today?

This was the most disappointing Euro Championship quality-wise in 30 years I follow it!!!

If everyone now will accept their style of playing who will watch it/pay $100 for a ticket...

Is the club football and all the money it attracts now the only game in town left?

World Cup is a bummer every four years it is being played outside of Europe and now this, bad news for us fans all...

Boohoo!

Now's the "contact sport" excuse!

Of course it is a contact sport!

And that is why the gk cannot be pushed/shoved!

Because the gk is the only player that can grab the ball!

That's the reason why the gk is a protected player inside his 5 meter box!

If I shove the goalkeeper he cannot grab the ball, something that the other players can't do, and by doing that I'm stealing his given advantage there!

Give me a break, will ya?!

Well done Greece! I enjoyed every second of the game, awesome defending with Dellas in a league of his own. Also impressed with how they closed down Deco, Figo and C. Ronaldo, Portugal looked a very average side imo. Seitaridis really impressed me as well, one of the players of the tournament. I do not understand those people who cannot see that good defending is just as good as good attacking, defenders never get the credit compared to attacking players.

Also why oh why does Deco, Figo and C. Ronaldo have to throw themselves to the floor everytime they get the slightest of touches. Deco is in a league of his own there, I think he should win something for that :D.

LOL... yeah... Greece doesn't have any stars... that's why they play by eliminating opponent skills... Does that make them a bad team? Maybe not a good team, but smart, you must admit...

English kids (not all), stop bashing the portuguese team. Our team is better than yours, period.

Because of that kind of arguments, your country it's unloved by a lot of others. Stop with that arrogance. You're no better than anyone. When England was eliminated I saw a LOT of nations very happy- Germany, France, Italy and others. English sometimes make fool of themselves.

We lost to Greece but we are not complaining. Our football was not enough to beat that defence.

Learn with us. We are a small country but our sympathy and hospitality are FAR BIGGER than yours.

Their tactic is quite simple.

When defending, they use a double layer of 5 defenders all the time.

If the second layer gets the ball, they quickly throw her into the opposite half.

If the first layer gets the ball, they lauch a quick counter-attack basicly made of fast pace triangulations by Giannakopoulos, Charisteas and Vryzas through the middle.

Zagorakis and Basinas are used to close the wings if the opponents attacked and support the frontmen by kicking the ball from one lateral into the other.

NINJA! :ninja:

tiagosilva you faked that pic..shame on you for that :p

why can't you just admit, that greece was better than portugal. you are trying to blame your defeat on the "defensive" tactics of the greeks. :pinch:

as for my comment: HELLAS!!!! :shifty:

Actually, sir... that was a screenshot from the Euro2004 site!

Speaking of that, you may also go there to see the stats, to prove yourself that the greeks were better than the French, the Czech and the Portuguese! (Yes, you can't...!)

Greece wasn't the best squad in the championship.

They won because they were *smart*, like nw_raptor said.

//And yes, *smart* implies the strictly defensive tactics with a few counter-attacks.

But, I'm still proud of hosting this campionship and of playing in the final.

    • outside of the AI and embedded spyware, I think windows 8 is by far the worse version of windows. Or maybe windows ME could be worse.
    • All that hype about Android apps on PC and then nothing because of that stupid Amazon App Store partnership.
    • hands down the worst version of Windows to date and sadly I think it's only downhill from here
    • I've never known a release to have so much pressure than this one. There is so much riding on the whole games industry because of everything that's changed in the past five years. That if this is a complete flop then I think the whole games industry is done unless something radically changes.
    • Windows 11 is now five years old by Taras Buria Windows 11 is now half a decade old. Five years ago, on June 24, 2021, Microsoft announced its latest operating system, designed to "bring you closer to what you love." Today, Windows 11 celebrates its fifth birthday. The launch of Windows 11 was interesting. Rumors about Microsoft introducing a Windows 10 successor popped up weeks before the public announcement, and a few days later, an entire preview build leaked online, allowing everyone to take a peek at what Microsoft was preparing. A few weeks later, Microsoft confirmed that Windows 11 was a thing and officially unveiled its next-gen operating system. Early versions of Windows 11 promised quite a lot. A redesigned, more modern user interface, a brand new Start menu and taskbar, improvements to virtual desktops and window snapping, Android app support, Teams integrated into the taskbar, Windows Widgets, a new version of the Microsoft Store, improved security, and more. Some of those features were welcomed, while others were received with heavy criticism. Besides missing taskbar and Start menu features, many disliked the steep hardware requirements, which kicked out PCs that were back then still perfectly fine. TPM and Secure Boot became mandatory, causing a spike in sales of dedicated TPM chips for motherboards. Double-layered context menus were disliked as well, and it is something that Microsoft still has to fix. Additionally, with time, some of Windows 11's exclusive features were simply killed. Microsoft removed the Teams integration and discontinued Android app support. During the early days of Windows 11, Microsoft was quite unwilling to address things that users criticized most. After four years on the market, management changes, and heated competition from the Mac camp, Microsoft finally decided to give in and take its operating system back to the drawing board to fix everything users had been complaining about for years. Microsoft is now redesigning the Start menu, adding missing taskbar features, improving Windows Update, fixing Windows 11's context menu, and more. Some believe all that warrants a new Windows 12 release, but for now, it appears that Windows 11 will stick around for a while. With Microsoft now listening to its core audience and acting upon received feedback, fans can finally expect a much better version of Windows 11 than what was available five years ago. Here is to five more years, Windows 11!
