I'm curious to see how many people consider themselves primarily console gamers or primarily computer gamers. I know there are a few out there who play a lot of both, but I think most of us are decidedly one sided. So which are you?

Also, this isn't a thread for fanboys to argue over which is better, just state which one you use (Y)

I mostly play my consoles, but I occasionally buy something for PC. Half Life 2 I'm probably going to get for computer, but Doom III is definitely going on my X Box. I want co-op.

I'm just not serious enough to buy more and more for my PC so it can keep up with today's games.

I am probably one of the few that don't like consoles.

I havn't had one since the sega mastersystem

Playing online multiplayer on them is just to difficult compared to PCs and they also lack the range of games and upgradablitly of PCs

The only time a console is better than A pc is for mutliplayer games for people sitting next to each other. I don't really understand why no-one has made a PC with multiple controller ports.

Because rather than trying to squeeze around a 17"/19" monitor, you can sit quite comfortably around a 32" TV

I am a dual platform person.

I play games on the PC that have a heavy mod/customization base with a genre I like, or when its only available on PC.

The console games I will buy are ones that are not available for PC, don't have a big mod base, or where the graphics are suitable for my needs, etc.

I do have the PC specs for gaming on here, but i rarely play any other than Championship Manager and Far Cry.

I play my PS2 or Gamecube much much more.

PC mainly - love my strategy games. I do have an XBox which I play quite a lot, as somoene says, it's great for relaxing with on the couch.
