"Semi"-easter egg in Messenger?

Recommended Posts

By accident, I came across a "hidden" Emoticons menu in Windows Messenger for XP 4.6.077 tonight that displayed 3 additional icons... a rainbow ®, a pair of handcuffs (%), and a sunshine (#). The regular "Emoticons" button doesn't display these, nor does the HELP documentation...

In a message window, press and hold SHIFT then the left parenthesis "(" button. A new emoticons window should pop up.

cool, I guess...?

Paradox

I *suppose* i could understand hiding the handcuffs, but why the rest?

Maybe the documentation and interface team don't interact that much with the person making those emoticons :D

Not trying to be an ass but Plus! Extension can display the hidden emoticons.. There is also one more hidden icon, it's a pictuer of "a/s/l" under the question mark. ;)

Now that makes sense..thx.

As for the "?ASL", I've seen it before, and have NO earthly idea what it could possibly mean...
